What absolutes are there for what is good and bad?

Quinton: This is a very touch question

This is a very tough question. At the end of the day I think everything is just energy and there is no true good or bad from a non-human perspective.

However, from a human perspective I do think there are a few simple guidelines that most people tend to agree on. These simple guidelines usually fall back to one core principle that is: non-initiation of force. The initiation of force is something that most humans view as a bad thing. Not using force and violence on others is generally seen as a good thing.

Any time we are forcing ourselves on others we are doing bad. When we are not forcing ourselves on others we are doing good.

Marvin: How do you punish bad

How do you punish bad behavior without initiating force on another human being? Why would the initiation of force be an absolute for bad if that person has just murdered twenty random people. Forcing this person to pay for their action would seem to be a good in this case.
